Safeguarding Alerts

This page contains safeguarding alert notices relating to individuals about whom The APCE holds credible information indicating a potential risk to children.

These notices are published for the sole purpose of enabling safeguarding checks by relevant individuals and institutions. They do not constitute criminal findings, and all individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Purpose

APCE conducts investigations into suspected child exploitation in coordination with relevant partners.

In some cases, individuals may leave a jurisdiction before an investigation is concluded or before law enforcement action is taken. In others, information indicating potential risk may not be pursued due to limited resources, jurisdictional constraints, or evidential thresholds required for prosecution.

APCE may also encounter situations where individuals with relevant histories—such as prior convictions or allegations in other countries—are present in new jurisdictions where that information is not readily visible to institutions or individuals responsible for safeguarding.

As a result, safeguarding concerns may not be apparent to those making decisions about employment, access, or contact with children.

This page exists to support basic safeguarding checks in such circumstances. It enables legitimate parties—such as educational institutions, NGOs, and relevant professionals—to identify whether APCE holds information that may be relevant to a safeguarding decision.
